Well, hello there.

1. Apologies for the awful I have uploaded here.
2. I promise to get back to this in the summer. I make a lot of promises about dA but honestly, when I have more free time I will hopefully have something that isn't bad to upload...
5. I should learn how to edit photos properly so the drawings look more like the originals and less... slap-in-the-face contrast.
3. A LEVELS.
4. I leave school in two weeks. TWO WEEKS. Where did my 7 years go?!
That is all.

Watch as I attempt to motivate myself to actually do some work (I should really be studying Biology!). I dropped A Level Art so I could learn to enjoy it again, right? (And it was incredibly stressful and entirely unrelated to any career I'm aspiring towards. But that is completely irrelevant to this journal.)
Now, I do have some AS work I could upload for you, but basically anyone who looks here has seen it already
and none of it seems quite good enough. Who knows, maybe I'll get round to putting up a picture or two (admittedly, I am proud of at least one of them.)
Back to the point of this journal - I'm making a list of what I plan to do. It's by no means a list of what I will do, and it's by no means complete, I still have a lot of little ideas floating about. I'm making this in hopes that when I have time I'll maybe sit myself down and do the work - and it may just end up on here (no promises.)
So here goes;
Just For -- Honestly, this one has been waiting in my head for a long time. I'm just waiting to find the right reference, it needs to be perfect.
Portrait i -- Unnamed - probably to be named after an Elvis song. This one is of my grandparents, it was meant to be an anniversary gift but it wasn't finished. It won't be finished by Christmas either, so I don't know if they'll ever see it (you'll probably never see it.) So far I have the fac of my granny done, but my granda is completely out of proportion. I'll hopefully finish it.
Portrait ii -- Also unnamed. I could love this one when it's finished (if it looks anything like her). It currently has a sketched outline, and it's based on one of my favourite photos of my sister. Although I've actually lost the sketchbook it's in...
It's Not Faith -- Another one that's been banging about for goodness knows how long. I've just never got round to getting a photo to reference from, but I do have a clear picture in my head.
At the minute, that's all I have of clear, defined ideas. I have lots of other notions that I'll write down as soon as I can, just to make sure I do them. I'll probably list them when I get a better idea of what I want the finished product to look like. Pretty much all portrait work, but suggestions of media other than pencil would be very much welcome?
Anyway, that's me for tonight. I should probably study now.

I have all these lovely ideas bouncing around inside my head, and I have the time to do them now - exactly why I dropped art class - but I don't have the will (or skill) to actually execute them.
